About Health Equity College
Our History
Founded in 2000, Health Equity College boasts a distinguished history of academic excellence. With over 25 years of experience in senior leadership roles across Australian universities, the team has become a global leader in advocating for reform, with a strong focus on addressing marginalisation and health inequality. Originally established as the Centre for Rural and Remote Oral Health and later evolving into the International Research Collaborative on Oral Health and Equity, the team is recognised as the leading oral health R&D group in Western Australia. The Collaborative is committed to advancing leadership in global health, with influence extending from the Middle East to the subcontinent, across Asia, and into the Pacific, encompassing over 120 Fellows and around 40 graduate students.
